Pixie is about 5 years old and lived outside her entire life until she was recently rescued along with her 3 babies into a loving foster home. She is still shy, but will allow pets and loves to lounge in the sunshine.
She has taken to the luxuries of becoming an indoor cat by relaxing, eating and playing, allowing herself to become spoiled, and forever thankful that she will never again spend a harsh winter outdoors. Pixie is looking for a quiet home with a family who will allow her the time it takes to adjust and trust in her new surroundings. She is very much bonded with her daughter, Gidget. She is the last remaining sibling from the litter and the last baby Pixie will ever have. They enjoy spending time together and seek each other out for comfort. They also are loving hanging out with the other cats in their foster home!

We are a foster-based rescue. We are using a conversational approach to the adoption process, from asking non-judgmental questions and hearing the owner's perspective, to educating on potential issues so as to minimize risk of returned adoptions.

SOS Pet Rescue was formed in 2023 by two best friends who share a mutual connection with stray cats and dogs. They see past dirt, wounds and fleas into the true soul of each animal. With more than a combined 35 years in the veterinary/rescue world, they were ready to use their experience to make a real difference in the lives of cats and dogs who are often ignored, discarded and abandoned.
