Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there, I'm Wilbur (formerly Snow), and I wanted to give you a quick update. Despite a recent injury to my leg and paw, I'm still a lively character, always ready for some fun. DPRPA rescued me from the PASPCA when I had a severe injury, and thanks to the caring folks at Hanover Vet Clinic and my foster mom, my leg and paw are on the road to recovery.
I'm a 2-year-old Albino Doberman, already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. Treats are my weakness, and I really enjoy being close to my human. You might hear me bark for attention—I can be quite vocal. While I'm still working on some basic obedience, I've mastered sit and down. I have good house manners and am comfortable in a crate. I need patience and slow introductions with other dogs, but I would do well with an easy-going sister my size
Due to my energetic nature, I'm looking for an experienced owner dedicated to continuing my training and providing plenty of enrichment and exercise. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for me to burn off some energy. I'd do best in a home with older children, as I haven't been around younger ones and might accidentally knock them over. I'm open to having canine companions that are my size with proper introductions, but no cats. If you have the time to train and snuggle with me, I could be the perfect addition to your family.
PLEASE NOTE: Albino Dobermans are considered to have special needs due to their light
sensitivity and high risk of various health issues including but not limited to: sunburn, skin cancer,
bumps, sores, and eye deformities. Adoption candidates must be committed to providing consistent
veterinary and at home care to make sure Snow stays happy and healthy. More information is
available upon request.
