Spodie, short for Spottieottiedopaliscious, named after the Outkast song, is a wonderful sweet loving well behaved 4 yr old Great Dane. He attended a board and train program at 6 months old, trained with an ecollar. He attends doggy daycare twice a week and gets along well with all the other dogs there. Occasionally he will bark at intact males. He has never been around cats. He has done fine with the children he has been around, todders to teens, with no issues. I would obviously use common sense and be cautious with small children due to his size. He is 97lbs. He loves hiking, fetch, sunbathing. He is pretty lazy inside the home, lounging around on his beds, but does love to play outside. He has been a great companion, and I love him dearly. Unfortunately I am traveling often for work and the cost of boarding is overwhelming and I would love to find a new home with the time and space he requires. He is the absolute best dog I’ve ever had and it breaks my heart to rehome him.
