My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Another foster writes:
Girlie is that girl. She has a tail that goes 100mph and will knock drinks off your coffee table but that's fine because she is so happy to see you. Girlies likes are; the couch, movie nights, your bed, your spot in your bed, peanut butter, smelling flowers, and tug of war (but only if she wins). Girlies dislikes are; not having space on the couch for movie night, losing at tug of war, and other dogs (she will scream, we are working on it)
Girlie is an angel being left home alone. She is house trained and loves to nap most of the day, but it will need to be in close proximity to you. This girl can be kinda a diva if you aren't giving enough love and attention in her opinion and will always hit you with the side eye but she is a loving and sweet lady with a lot of life in her.

My foster writes:
Girlie is a perfect mix breed dog. 1 part 100% cute dog 1 part outgoing ham who loves pets and people. If you're looking for the perfect senior dog who loves naps, treats, and prancing around in circles when you get home, you've found your girl. At 10 years old she is looking for a home where she can play for about 10 minutes a day, and rest for the rest ! Be warned, if you leave your desk chair you may find her sitting in it when you return. Girlie is highly food motivated, and could stand stand to gain a couple pounds (she's on a bulk).
Girlie does need to be the only pet in the home as she is not fond of other dogs. On walks she can get a little riled when she sees them but can easily be redirected with a treat. Please ONLY APPLY to adopt Girlie IF you are looking for a perfect senior dog to fill your days with light and love.

There is an adorable video of me on ACC's TikTok page. Click here to experience the cuteness!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

A Volunteer Wrote: This Girlie is an angel on four feet. A snarling feral cat? No problem-she wags her tail and walks on by. A dog barking at her? Ditto. She's a dream on a leash, appears house-trained, and she adores snuggles. The fact that she's always wagging her tail and endlessly affectionate is all the more humbling given that she appears to have had a rough go of it lately, and to recently have had puppies. This dear, dear girl could use some parental love herself in the form of a loving family-please come meet her and see all that Girlie has to give!
