My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

M I L D R E D
Mildred here, but my friends call me Miley! I'm here to share my story of resilience, hope, and boundless love. Last week, I celebrated my 4th birthday, but guess what? Not a single adoption application came through! Is my application lost in a mail vortex? Or maybe you're unsure where to find it? Let's fix that right now!
I've come a long way, overcoming being underweight and overbred, facing surgeries, and heartworm treatment. Today, I'm healthy, heartworm-free, and ready for the best chapter yet! The shelter has been taking care of me for a full year now! Did you know I warm up to guys faster than a marshmallow melts over a campfire?
Here's why I'd make your life even brighter:
Affectionate: Cuddle time is the best time!
Crate Trained: I'm comfortable in my own cozy space.
Dog Selective: I get along great with some doggy friends!
Friendly: I love meeting new faces.
Good with Kids: Little humans make my tail wag!
Housetrained: No accidents here-I'm a pro.
Leash Trained: Walks? Let's go!
Low to Moderate Energy: Relaxation is key, but I'm up for some zoomies when the moment strikes.
Not Good with Cats: I prefer a cat-free space.
Playful: I'm always up for some fun!
Loves Toys: Toys are my jam.
Car Rides: Adventure? I'm ready!
Right now, I'm in a loving foster home, but I'm on the lookout for a full-time, FUREVER family. Do you have an opening in your heart and home for a girl like me?
