My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Kramer family has chosen to sponsor the costs of transport and medical care for the 17 Walworth dogs as a Christmas gift in honor of all our fur babies we have lost over the years and all my friends' fur babies that have also crossed the Rainbow Bridge - none will ever be forgotten.  Our Christmas wish is that each of the Walworth-furred ones find loving homes where they are cherished. Merry Christmas sweet Pups!  Love, Cheryl, Dave, Ryan, and Cassie Kramer

Scout was born around December 9, 2019, and weighs about 20 pounds. Scout has things to do in life and would benefit from another active dog to run and chase in a good sized, safe, yard and would be an excellent agility dog!  He runs, chases, hops, jumps, and bounds around and his world is all about fun, fun, fun AND THEN when all that is done and it's time to relax he is the best snuggler! Scout rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash.  He does well in social events as he is just very happy go lucky. His gorgeous fur will need to be brushed just to make him more gorgeous and there will be fur on your clothing. We like to give our dogs fruits and veggies as snacks and he LOVES to munch on raw broccoli!  All in all Scout is a volunteer favorite!
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.

Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES

We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
