Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Java is being fostered in NJ.
Java may be the cuddliest dog I've ever met. He always wants to be right up against me when I'm sitting on the couch, and he sleeps curled up next to me. He's a total lovebug!
Java was abandoned at a shelter in September, showing signs of severe neglect. (His shelter photos can be disturbing but will be provided to his adopter if requested.)
Within 24 hours of rescue by BDRA, Java was in surgery to remove both eyes, and to be neutered. Everyone at the vet's office fell in love with him! He recovered well and gets around just fine. We believe he is also deaf, but this has not been confirmed by a vet. He has a great sniffer and uses that to get around. He can smell food from anywhere in the house!
Java is housebroken, although he doesn't know how to ask to go outside. We take him outside 2-3 times per day and he does not have any accidents in the house.
We sometimes call Java the "little goat" because depending on the way he turns his head, he looks like a baby goat. He is absolutely adorable!
A very lucky family will adopt Java and be instantly in love with him. He is a precious little dog.
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
