Rascal is an Australian cattle dog mix (a tall one!) that is ~60 lbs and estimated to be around 2 years old. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, housebroken and crate-trained. He was DNA tested and results showed 40% cattle dog (mixed with breeds like rottweiler and german-shepherd). He's a beautiful, unique-looking dog.
Rascal is intelligent and very eager to learn, which makes training him fun! He is very praise-driven and also food-motivated. He's also goofy, affectionate, and playful with humans. I have been fostering him for over 4 months and he's learning to enter and exit the car with cues, wait for meals patiently in his crate, "leave it" cue, and loves to be a "helper" by carrying stuff around the house and supervising chores lol
He also loves car rides! He would do well in a home that will give him structure and consistency and wants an adventure buddy to bring along on hikes and long walks. He would also do well in a home with a large older dog to show him the ropes.
