My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nicolas is a former decompression program graduate with a huge fan club at PACC. This little fella makes a big impression! Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:

“Today we walked around the lake with Nicolas and his kennelmate, and they had a great time. Nicolas was a brisk walker, was not reactive to other dogs in the park, and enjoyed some stops for sniffing. A real pleasure to walk!”

“Nicolas is just a joy to walk. He was easy to leash and walked very well. It seems he would walk forever at a nice brisk pace. Nicolas is comfortable with touch, just needs a bit of time to warm up to you.”

As a decompression program graduate, Nicolas can still be sensitive to new situations and needs a bit of time to feel safe with new people. In his most recent home Nicolas was housebroken and crate trained and was described as playful, affectionate couch potato. Here’s what his former person said about him:

“Nicolas is a sweet boy with lots of potential. If you go slowly, he will start showing his adorable personality. He is a bit of a `love sponge` if he likes you and has a very playful, silly streak that is truly magical. He is also incredibly intelligent and learns quickly.”

Nicolas shares his kennel with his brother and while they can be adopted together, it is not a requirement, and they can go to separate homes. Nicolas needs slow introductions to other resident dogs and will do best in a home without cats. If you have a soft spot for our very sensitive pups, please ask to meet Nicolas today!
