Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
No, your eyes do not deceive you! Yes, I am truly this handsome. Can't get enough of me? Me either. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I was living in a park and an amazing Trap-Neuter-Return volunteer was able to trap me, get me neutered and vaccinated, and return me to my park after I recovered. I was in relatively good health for someone living on the streets for years. I was able to fend for myself despite living in a harsh environment. My trapper would visit me occasionally and she saw that I would hide under cars for hours at a time. People would try to scare me away by kicking me and other cats would still fight with me even though I stayed out of their way. Since I was fixed and returned, I have had 3 injuries to my face which were infected. My trapper has helped me get the medical attention that I needed through Stray Cat Alliance but it was determined that I could not continue to live at the park. I am getting to my golden years and would love nothing more than to be in my forever home. Even though I am a little shy and get scared that I'll be kicked again, I am super gentle. I will let you hold me and give me pets, I love it so much that I will start purring and make air biscuits. I will show you my tummy to show you that I am not a threat to you and that I trust you. Please take a chance on me and give me a home. I'll be waiting for you!

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.
We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue
Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:
-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.
Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
