My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butterscotch is a lemon yellow Lab that is a wonderful housedog, housebroken, good with kids, cats and other dogs. She was quite fat when we rescued her from an animal control facility, but has since lost 9 lbs. She still needs to lose another 9-10 lbs. Butterscotch is 8 years old. She does take an inexpensive thyroid medication as well as an inexpensive arthritis med - although we feel that losing the weight will help her with the latter! You don't need to be a senior to adopt from us but we do prefer to adopt within 200 miles of Peoria, IL so that we can more easily get the dog back if the adoption doesn't work out.
