My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fable was one of a litter of puppies who were abandoned in a field near Bakersfield. Young and fending for themselves, they found their way to the local shelter then to The REAL Bark. Despite such a rough start in life, Fable resiliently retained his natural wonderful persona - sweet, friendly with people, dogs and cats, taking treats gently and very eager to please. Being very treat motivated, he is learning quickly the basics and is ready to find his forever home to continue his puppy training and become a wonderful loving well-disciplined adult dog and a perfect part of someone's family. Currently 27 lbs at 5 months of age, we estimate his full-grown size to be about 45-50 lbs. This beautiful long-legged wonder is truly magical, and any family would be so lucky to welcome him home. Children age 12 and over okay in the home, due to larger puppy size and energy. Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.
