Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi ya, I’m Lacee a sweet young and playful female husky. Lucky for me Moonsong came to my rescue after being abandoned in the desert in Utah. My experience has not hardened me to life, I am a love bug with people I trust. Since being in a foster home I’ve been exposed to 3 foster brothers and have interacted with dogs of all sizes. Playing is my favorite thing and I adjust my play style to my friends; I will play all day if given the choice.
Crate training has been going well. After a few hours of play time, roaming the house and yard, I am happy to go into my crate for a nap. My crate is my safe place, and I will hoard any and all toys in my space. I can be protective of my space and toys, so it’s important to allow me space.
I am shy about meeting new people and prefer them to wait for me approach them when I’m ready to ask for pets. Once I trust you, I warm up quickly and will ask for pets and give kisses. My leash manners are pretty good, and I am cautious of my surroundings and sudden noises or movements will make me flinch. I am gaining more and more confidence everyday.
Lacee can easily be redirected with food, which makes her a dream to train. She has not been exposed to young children. She would love an active home with a confident and playful companion but would also be fine as an only dog. She needs a patient home that will allow her to go at her own pace to establish trust is important.
Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.
