This helps Forgotten Cats, Inc. with pet care costs.
Please consider us!!! These male and female kitties need either special food or have a medical condition that requires medication. They all have love to give and are looking to become your new family member(s). All of the cats featured in our collage have individual posts so you can read their biographies and see more photos and possibly a video.
Adopting special needs cats is not just an act of kindness; it’s a transformative journey that enriches both the lives of these remarkable felines and their human companions. Each cat comes with a unique story and personality, often displaying a resilience and joy that can inspire all who meet them.
The bond formed through compassion and dedicated care is profound, as you witness their growth and happiness unfold before your eyes. Imagine the joy of seeing a once-timid cat blossom into a confident companion, reminding us that love knows no bounds.
By opening your heart and home to a special needs cat, you join a vibrant community of fellow animal lovers committed to making a difference. Together, we can create a world where every cat, regardless of their challenges, has a chance to thrive and share their love. Embrace the rewarding experience of adoption and be a part of something truly special!
Please consider taking a chance on one or more of them. Thank you so much.
Beautiful lap cat Eve is a new addition. She has first stage kidney disease. You can meet Eve in our Brandywine PetSmart adoption center. Sadly, no one has shown any interest in adopting her, BUT she can be fostered. Eve would love to be in a home environment.
Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application at: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Not ready to adopt? Please consider fostering: https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/. Thank you! (Foster: Trainer, Willow Grove, Foster Families)

Submit Application
People can view our cats on-line and can see some of them in the adoption centers. An application can be for a particular cat or a TBD.
Approve Application
Processing takes about 3-5 business days. Upon approval, a meet & great and/or adoption will be arranged.
Meet the Pet
An approved app is needed to meet cats that are with fosters & those that are in our clinic/shelters, but not to meet adoption center cats.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption counselor will review the paperwork and the medical form with the adopter. This is a good time to ask questions before signing.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees are based upon the age of the cat - kitten, adult, 7+ yrs. - how many cats are being adopted and special needs cats.
Take the Pet Home
An adopted pet must be taken home in a carrier. If there are other pets at home, please give them a slow intro period of about 2 weeks.
