Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Koyo, an adorable and resilient kitty of about a year old who is looking for her forever home. She got her name, which means red leaf in Japanese, because she was rescued as a stray in the fall-time. Her wide amber-yellow eyes add to her fall-time Halloween kitty beauty.
For the first year of her life, she braved the outdoors as a stray, so she is independent and smart, and still a little cautious about humans. But Koyo is blossoming into a curious and trusting kitty. She is still getting the hang of the whole being pet by humans thing, but she's getting there. She has started to nap at the foot of the bed and on the couch, and after witnessing her foster kitty siblings get pets, she looks up at you with her big yellow eyes, and offers a slow blink invitation for a few pets.
Koyo is playful and friendly with other cats. She needs at least 1 cat buddy in her forever home. She loves to romp around and chase her foster siblings. One of her cute quirks is carrying around a plush cookie toy filled with catnip in her mouth while meowing, then rolling around on the floor and kicking it around.
Since she was a stray, she probably has not been around dogs in a friendly setting. Therefore, she may prefer a home without dogs (but it’s also possible she may do fine with them after a slow introduction).🐾 She is still young and curious, and while still skittish she is fairly brave and interested in the happenings of the house-hold, so she probably would do fine with kids who are respectful of cats' boundaries. She can slap if over-stimulated or unsure, so older kids would be best. '
She's in Wasilla. Call 907 980-8898
