Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing the absolutely gorgeous Hazel!! This sweet girl is the total package!
Hazel is good with cats and dogs of all sizes/breeds, and she is as quiet as a mouse in the house. She doesn't and will not get on any furniture, has good manners and doesn’t jump up on people. She is smaller in stature than the average lab weighing in at around 66 lbs, and is great on a leash. Hazel had had advanced obedience training and you can tell! She will also let you know when she has to use the bathroom and she rides well in the car. Hazel is friendly and obedient and the staff in the shelter said she knows a lot of commands. Hazel is a little shy still and feels best in her crate, but foster mom is trying to get her out and about so she can adjust to her new life. Once Hazel is used to new people she is friendly and loving. Hazel’s foster mom said she is an absolute dream and has settled into her new home with 5 male dogs with ease.
Hazel is almost 3 years old, spayed, up to date on her shots and is heart worm negative. She still needs to get the once over by our vets but we are accepting adoption applications for Hazel.
If you live within 350 miles of Lake Placid, NY or in the Houston, Texas area and would like to welcome Hazel or another one of our rescue pup’s into your home, please visit our website https://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptioninfo
