My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at this beautiful grey girl with luminous eyes. When Luna looks at you, it feels like she is staring into your soul. Luna views most humans as sketchy but with patience, you can earn her trust over time. When you do, she may come ask you for a head scratch or back rub.
Luna is also a big fan of snacks and pretty much any kind of treat and will come running when she hears them come out. She has a playful side and enjoys playing with cats and kittens alike. Luna is also a big fan of toys and has several she is very fond of. Laser toys might just be her favorite. She will chase the little red dot all over the room!

Luna would prefer a quiet home where she is given space and patience to form a relationship with her new family at her own pace. It may take some time, but this special girl is worth it!

Luna's adoption fee has been paid for by a kind donor. If you adopt a cat, consider making a donation to pay it forward for a future adopter.

Additional adoption info

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep.

If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted!

Adoption fees are:
Kittens under 6mo: $130 ($200 for two)
Cats over 6mo: $90 ($150 for two)
Puppies under 6mo: $225
Dogs over 6mo: $175

Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 3341 Vincent Road.

Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions by appointment only with an approved application. Please submit an application for a cat you are interested in at www.cchumane.org/adoptable-cats.

All of our dogs, puppies and some kittens are located off-site in foster homes and can be met by appointment once adoption applications have been received and approved.
