Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there, I go by the name Blondie, and I am a fluffy and regal retired tom cat with a heart as sweet as can be!
My demeanor is laid-back, and I thrive on affection and love. Let me share my journey with you—I've been through quite a lot. Found outdoors in the vicinity of an apartment complex, I was surviving on the kindness of those who fed me. When I was rescued, I was underweight, battered, and dealing with severely matted fur and fleas. I was in quite a state! However, with a soothing bath, grooming to remove the mats, the elimination of fleas, a round of antibiotics, and plenty of love, I am now prepared to embrace the good life indoors with my future person or family.
I am incredibly amiable, getting along famously with other feline companions, and my primary desire is to cuddle and relax. I am truly the sweetest thing. Additionally, I have successfully undergone entropion eye surgery. Despite being FIV+, a condition often transmitted through deep bite wounds in the course of fights or mating, this shouldn't pose any concern since I am neutered and exceptionally friendly. My foster mom can provide you with a detailed rundown of my medical history.
With the right dose of love, nourishment, and care, I am poised to lead a fulfilling and lengthy life. If you're ready to welcome a loving and resilient companion into your home, I could be the perfect fit!
**A word about Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV): FIV is species specific, meaning only cats can be infected. FIV+ cats can live just as long as non-FIV cats. If introduced properly, FIV and Non-FIV cats can live happy and healthy lives together. The virus is very frail and can only live outside the body for a few seconds, and requires serious physical interaction, like deep bite wounds. Normal social interactions, such as grooming, sharing food and water bowls and litter boxes have no known risk of transmission.**
Blondie is 5 years old, neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated.
