You’d never know it by looking at her, but Couture had a rough start. This beautiful, active girl was discovered living in a car, stuffed into a crate that was too small.

She ended up in a crowded shelter, charming her way into the hearts of volunteers. She so dog-friendly that she was designated a “helper dog” in doggie playgroup!

We rescued Couture and enrolled her in the Pierce College Registered Vet Tech certification program, where she helps RVT students learn to perform non-invasive procedures like positioning a dog on an x-ray table and performing a wellness exam. She’s a good girl!

The semester is now over, and Couture is ready for her forever family. She would do best with active people—kiddos over 8 okay!—with a backyard, a stash of tennis balls, and a lot of love to share.
