Meet Baxter and Buddy!

These two sweeties were left behind when their owner passed away. They are very bonded and we hope to be able to keep them together. Baxter and Buddy have lived on a rural property for a long time and are used to being outside a lot. That is not a great life for them so we are hoping to find a patient family who can help them get used to being proper indoor pets.

These boys are just 5 years old and have a long life ahead of them. They can be a bit wary of strangers but warm up well if you give them a little time to trust you. Going slowly and letting them come to you helps a lot. Once they know you, they are quite the little love bugs.

A home with a yard and kids over 12 will work best for them. They are not very comfortable with younger kids.

They do well with other dogs but need a little work on the leash.

Buddy and Baxter are 5yo maltipoos.They are brothers from the same litter and are very much bonded and would thrive in a household together. They are both sweethearts that love to follow you around and snuggle - they will sleep on your stomach or by your head if you let them. They keep each other busy and love to play and wrestle with each other.

Before we got them, they were the neighbor street dogs - They spent their days outside running freely around the neighborhood and slept inside their owners place at night. They are skittish around new people and may nip if you make fast movements at them until they warm up. I don’t think they were taught many manners and they tend to jump on you when they’re excited.They definitely deserve better than what they have had/what they know. I know they will make a family really happy!

Both boys are vaccinated and neutered. They will be chipped soon. Their combined adoption fee is $500.
