Murphy!

Murphy is a very loving dog around our family and close friends. With others he can be anxious and unpredicitable. He is anxious during the day and has begun to eat clothes.He is uncomfortable around young children or people that want to touch his face or hug him. He needs to warm up to people. We are an active family who regularly travel and have guests over. This stress on Murphy requires us to board him when we are having new or unfamiliar guests visit, or larger groups. We have always tried to accomodate his needs and anxiety. We have taken him to behavioral assessment and training. As directed by our Vet, we also will provide medication to Murphy on occassion to help with his anxiety when we have planned guests coming over or stressful events. Murphy would do best in a home that has a loving family, the ability to roam freely around the house or a larger property. Minimal unexpected guests and young children. He is good with other animals and lives with another dog in our home.
