Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mia!
Mia is a white hound mix who was found as a stray with her sister Sophia. The pups were dumped in a wooded rural area near the Memphis TN area. Good samaritans have been taking care of the two pups but now it is time for them to find permanent homes. Mia is about 4 months old, currently weighs 20 pounds and is a stunning girl! Very different looking than the other dogs at the dog park! She has typical long floppy hound ears and is already sporting some adorable spots on her tummy and ears. She is healthy, up to date on shots and spayed. She will be ready to travel by mid December. If you are living in a condo or apt and have weight restrictions on pets please be aware that we can not guarantee adult size!
Mia is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is $400 which includes a health certificate and costs for the transport north.
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please go to www.angelsamongusanimalrescue.org and fill out an online adoption application. Thank you!
*Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heartworm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption.
*Please note that while we do our best to accurately state the breed or breed mix of a dog, we often have very limited information to draw from. Identifying the breed without pedigrees and information on heritage can be very challenging!
Massachusett's Residents: Effective September 28, 2017 a Quarantine Fee of $100 will be required (in addition to the adoption fee) to adopt a dog that has been Quarantined. Massachusetts mandates that all dogs entering MA shall be quarantined for 48 hours in a state approved facility.

More about this rescue
Angels Among Us Animal Rescue - HTCASA is a 501c3 group and was founded in July 2011. We are a group of women and men who love animals and rescue animals from high kill shelters. These animals are surrendered by their families or picked up as stray animals. We rescue dogs and give them the second chance they deserve. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated if they are positive. We work very hard trying to find these babies their "furever" homes that they deserve.
