Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Autumn is the sweetest, little gal. She came to us covered in fleas, starved and very pregnant. She gave birth to beautiful puppies and has been a very good mama. The babies are all leaving now so it's time for Autumn to find her own home.
She spends her free time hanging out with the other dogs, laying on the deck in the sun, and chillin’ on the couch. She LOVES to be around people. She is just the cutest when she runs and her ears flop all over the place!
Autumn had zero manners when she arrived. She is catching on to housebreaking and understands she is not getting human food even if she begs and gives her fosters the sad eyes. She sure does try though. She has gotten along with the dogs and cats in her foster home and has loved every human she has met. She still jumps a bit so a home with little humans may not be great for her because she might knock them down. She will need a new family who will continue to teach her manners.
Autumn is about 22 lbs, approximately 5 years old, HW- (at the time of testing) and fully vaccinated. She will not be able to be spayed for several weeks after adoption due to her recent pregnancy. Autumn is an inside dog. She enjoys the outside, but her time living outside and breeding is over. She has been quiet in the house; however, she does have Beagle nose and follows scents. She is learning to walk on a harness and does okay in the car.
If you are interested in adopting Autumn or fostering to help saves more lives, applications can be found at www.homesfurhounds.org. Applicants must be approved before meeting Autumn at her foster home. We do not have a “brick and mortar” building for visits. Our rescue is foster home based.
