My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alfie, a 5-yr-old pit mix, was sentenced to die at the County shelter, but Freedom Brothers rescued this sweet boy in the nick of time, giving him a second chance at life. He's perfect in the house: housebroken, loves his kennel, rarely barks, and patient when you're working on something. He knows sit and shake, he's easy to leash, and he walks well on leash, generally in one of two modes, slow and sniffing or "man on a mission. His tail is always wagging, he's always happy to see you, and he loves to give kisses. He's always affectionate, and he melts hearts with his big brown eyes. He loves his walks, and he loves almost everyone he meets. He kisses strangers regularly, little kids to seniors. He wants to chase cats, but he's getting better when seeing the foster's outdoor cats. After a slow introduction, he's been fine with an older and bigger female, but he reacts to other dogs at first. He would be a perfect companion for the right human(s).
