Hello my name is Bella!

I am the sweetest petite 45 pound 4 year old lab/pittie mix. I am a snugglebug who loves belly rubs and couch cuddling. I live with my foster parents and two human brothers and Cody the cat. I love all people but when we are at home I especially like my foster mom.  I follow her around everywhere! I am fully house-trained! I do like to sleep in my crate during the day when everyone is gone and at night when it's bedtime. I love to go for walks in the woods and around the neighborhood and have been learning to walk with a gentle leader to help keep me focused. I can sometimes be reactive to other dogs. In my past, mainly dominant females gave me a hard time, so it would be best to do slow introductions.

In my previous foster home,  I liked to help my foster mom with kittens and puppies. I love them!! I have been learning the commands stay, place, heal and watch and it would be great to continue learning those in my new home.  I am calm and quiet but I do get the zoomies and I do love a good play, so it would be great to have a fenced backyard. My foster mom wants you to know that she thinks that my forever family is going to be so blessed and lucky to have me. Oh and if you love adventures I absolutely love to ride in the car.   I can't wait to meet you!

We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.

The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.

The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
