My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Goldie, a cattledog mix, about 3 yrs old, has quite a tale to tell. She arrived with a history of hardship, already pregnant and understandably frightened. When her puppies came into the world, she transformed into a fiercely protective mom, allowing only a select few near her precious little ones. Over time, Goldie has learned that we humans aren’t so bad after all. She warms up gradually, appreciating the right introductions. She enjoys playing with toys and loves belly rubs. Goldie seeks a calm household where she can simply hang out and cuddle on the couch. Leash skills are a work in progress, but she’s making strides. If you’re looking for a sweet and very devoted companion who appreciates quiet moments, Goldie might just be the perfect fit for you!

Adoption fees include: Spay or Neuter, All vaccinations are up to date, and a microchip. If you have current pets we do allow a two week trial period for $50. This allows us to make sure that the animal will fit in with the resident animals.

More about this rescue

Countryside Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, No-Kill animal rescue center. In an animal's eyes, love is unconditional. Too often their love is taken advantage of, leaving hundreds of animals abused, neglected and discarded. Countryside Animal Rescue is here for those
animals to rescue and heal. When ready for a new home, we place each animal in the best suitable, forever home and educate the humans about responsible pet ownership.
