Meet Biscuit, a gorgeous 1-year and 6-month ginger female cat and fantastic cat-panion.
This young gal has had a hard life, rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control this girl fought ringworm and then survived Panleukopenia! Due to the diligent care and love given to her by her current foster mom, FFF she made a full recovery and is ready to embark on her next adventure of finding her forever home! Biscuit has faced challenges in her past, and though she may not be a lap cat her unique personality makes her a wonderful companion in her own right. Every day, she’s making strides in building trust and becoming more comfortable with human interaction. While she may not be the answer for someone seeking a lap cat, Biscuit is the perfect match for those looking to provide a loving and low- maintenance home for a furry friend.
Biscuit would thrive in a quieter home where she can continue to build her confidence. Although she initially puts up a front when meeting new cats, she is actually quite friendly and gets along well with her other cat companions given a proper introduction. She will need to be adopted into a home that has another young, feline companion to chum around with and make happy memories! She will do well with adults and older children that can provide her with the patience and love that she needs to learn to trust again. She makes the perfect addition to a home seeking a young, playful low maintenance companion for their current resident cat.
This sweet girl has a penchant for wet food and a love for spring toys that knows no bounds. You’ll often find her engaged in playful antics, batting a spring around the house with the enthusiasm that only Biscuit can bring. She may not be right in the middle of the action, but she loves being just outside it, observing and participating in her own way. She’s certainly not one to shy aways from a fun time, especially when it involves playing and exploring, and you may even hear her let a little yell at those spring toys, showing them who really is the boss! She’s even up to watching TV, mesmerized by whatever is playing at the time.
You will find Biscuit always watching you. Her little ears sticking up from a bar stool while you’re doing dishes, following you from room to room keeping her distance. She’s curious about you, and all the things you are doing. With time and patience, she is sure to blossom into the trusting and loving cat that she deeply wants to be inside her soul.
