Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Happy is a male born in 2016 and a recently diagnosed diabetic. His personality is starting to come out as his diabetes becomes more regulated and he is starting to be more playful as he gets stronger. Happy is sweet, affectionate, and a bit lazy. His favorite things in life are food and to be brushed. Happy will need an adopter who is committed to his twice a day insulin injections and special diet. He is extremely cooperative for the injections as he is too busy eating to even notice the shot. Happy will be happiest in a household without small children. He's getting along well with other animals in his foster home.
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
