Ruckus first joined Last Hope in 2020, he was adopted by a wonderful family and lived very happily with two kids and two other cats. Unfortunately, one of Ruckus' parents passed away in 2023 and he was returned a few months later to our care. Ruckus is so outgoing, but understandably a little broken hearted as his whole world fell apart very quickly.
We hope that Ruckus can find his forever family and that we can assure him he will never be rehomed again! Ruckus does occasionally get overstimulated, sometimes by other cats or sometimes with people touching him - this usually happens when he's trying to explore and get himself into mischief and then a human comes and spoils things by making him be safe! We have found that he’s best left alone when he feels this way, but would request that he be in a home with adults only and no children. He can be fairly cat selective, so may potentially pair with a cat that would not show him any interest or interaction but would likely be best suited as a solo cat for the easiest transition into a new home.
Ruckus' adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Ruckus is seeking an indoor only home, if you are interested in meeting him please submit an adoption application for consideration! Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
