Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frani is a sweet, petite little girl (31#) who is house broken, fun, playful, rides happily in the car, and most importantly, is friendly and affectionate. At times she aspires to lab dog. She is a year and months old, born August 2022 and has a lot of puppy in her yet. She loves to go outside. Her best match would be an adopter who wants to spend time with her possibly who worked from home and just wanted a pooch to hang out with or someone who enjoyed walking, running, or doing other activities. She is happy just hanging out so someone who worked from home would find her an excellent companion as long as she got some daily activity. She is very nice and it is fun just to be with her. She has gone on a couple of runs and has done well. She loves to run off leash in a fenced area with a buddy.
Frani came to us with 4 wee puppies and now they have been adopted and she is ready for her forever home. We are making a guess on breed here. Typically dogs from this area have a dozen or more breeds, often shepherd, lab, husky, kelpie or even Chihuahua.
Frani is cautious meeting both new people and new dogs. We expect she would do fine in a multi-dog household like she is in now, or would also do well being an only dog as long as she has some play time with others from dog nation. She is happily living with both adult dogs and puppies now. She is very tuned in to her human. She knows the words "stay" and "no" but no other commands. We think she will do well with older children, but she is not living with children now and her previous family was all adults. She has hung out with 5th graders and thought they were swell companions. She is not comfortable with the unpredictable jumping/yelling/running of very young children. She can hang back when meeting new people but forms solid human friendships.
Frani has been vet checked, spayed, wormed and had routine vaccinations including rabies. The adoption fee is $375 (check or cash). We do place dogs outside the metro area but we do not ship.
If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a dog, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. If you elect to contact us via e-mail it may take several weeks for us to get back to you. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a dog. Please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption.
