Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Presented by The Puerto Rico Dog Fund (PRDF): The "Fish Litter"
*UPDATE: Snapper is located in a Belmar, NJ Foster home. Approved adopter will need to be able to travel to this location for meet and greet and pickup.
All of these puppies have such similar personalities: they are very quiet, sweet, and loveable. All like to cuddle and are doing GREAT on potty training. They all play, and "splat" on the floor when tuckered out. They are eating well, and attentive to people without being demanding. They are sweethearts!
Mama is a black and white, short haired, medium dog at about 35-40 lbs. The two suspected Daddies of the puppies (did you know a female can get impregnated by multiple males?) are both a large fluffy black dog (approx. 70 lbs) and a brown short-haired dog (approx. 50 lbs), so these babies are all expected to be medium sized when fully grown. See specifics below for this pup.
4 puppies will be flown to Newark, NJ to thier foster homes or a direct adoption home placement on Dec. 4th. Apply early, if you'd like to be considered. The remaining puppies will be flown off the island no later than Dec. 22nd (and a high probability that it will be sooner). Your adoption fee includes this travel fee, but adopters will need to sign a contract to commit to spay/neutering the pet at thier age-appropriate time at thier expense. Our organization is a non-profit that strives to control "oops" litters, so sterilization is our mission.
Specifics on this puppy:
Hi, I'm Snapper! I have a swirly coat and soft brown colored paws. I'm sweet and quiet without being timid. The care team at PRDF thinks I look like one of the daddies... a brown mixed breed dog. I hope to meet you soon!
