If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Taki when she was 10 weeks old. She is now 6 and a half years old. She has always been a sweet temperament cat. She is great with older kids but isn’t doing well with my very active toddler. It’s a daily struggle of keeping them separated and she scratches him daily despite my best efforts. I’m about to have a third baby and I fear it’s only going to get worse.
She does well with strangers. She usually comes out to say hi and get pets. She’s not huge on snuggles but likes to be close by. She sits on the pillow behind you on the couch and sleeps at the end of the bed. She has not been to the vets since her first year but has not had any issues that required one. She does well with our older dog. She grew up with a cat and did great with him but she has not been around another cat since then so I’m unsure how she is. As long as she has her space and can freely come to you she is fine.
