Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Snitch is a bundle of joy, he does well on a leash but will need a stricter training regimen at first. He has gone through formal training and picks up commands easily. He was dumped as a puppy and has yet to meet his forever family. His previous home had younger kids who didn’t give him the space he needed so he’s probably going to do best in a house with older kids or a home without children. He’s dog friendly given proper introduction and his attitude with cats is unknown. If you would like to come meet this beautiful boy, contact us or Summit Veterinary Hospital at (979) 315-1999! Snitch is neutered and microchipped. He is also up to date on all vaccines, is heartworm negative and he's dewormed.
Our adoption process begins with you meeting Snitch. Feel free to schedule a play date with him, and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Snitch to you for a small adoption fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract.
We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to ensure that Snitch is adjusting well to his new home and that he's happy and healthy.
We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to ensure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.

More about this rescue
We started this organization to fill a need. Animals are being euthanized in astonishing numbers across the country simply due to overcrowding of shelters. It's heartbreaking! Our main focus is to pull these animals out of these high-kill facilities and place them in loving forever homes. We have several local fosters that are willing to provide temporary TLC for these pets while they are waiting for their "forever humans" to come along! We are also passionate about community education in areas of need. The pet overpopulation problem rests solely on the shoulders of humans and that is why more focus needs to be placed on educating people and making them more aware of the issue. We want to give as many animals as possible the chance they deserve, so that is why we founded Happy Landings Animal Rescue.
