My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Colson, a 3-year-old pit mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I came from animal control, but don't let that fool you-I'm ready to leave my past behind and find a forever home where I can show off just how sweet and snuggly I am. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, I'm your guy!

I'm all about getting out and about. I recently went for a 2-mile run around the park, and even though I have high energy, I still managed to follow commands. I'm easy to walk, and car rides? I love them! I did great on a trip downtown, where I made new friends and grabbed some "coffee" at Joe Blowski's. I can get playful and chase after other dogs from time to time, but it's all in good fun-no fear here, just pure excitement.

I may not know any fancy tricks yet, but I'm eager to learn. I just need someone who's ready to work with me using positive reinforcement, maybe with some treats or cuddles as motivation! Whether we're hitting the trails, meeting new people, or just hanging out on the couch, I'll be right there by your side, loving every moment. Could you be the one I'm looking for? Let's find out!
