Smart, confident STAR is a beautiful female black and gray tabby teenager kitty with lots of love to offer. She has dramatic stripes and spots! She delights in batting her pompom balls around the room, playing wand toy with her favorite human and crawling into her foster's lap for pets, a good cuddle and a nap. Light toys she can carry in her mouth are her favorites, and she will entertain herself for hours. She is an energetic sweetheart who will do best in a home with an animal friend (cat or dog) to keep her company. She loves her current foster "brother" Tarka, and they are well suited to each other. She is eager to make friends with new cats, and has learned that some dogs make good playmates too. .
Star was diagnosed with a heart murmur by a a specialist, but her latest echocardiogram showed no signs of any heart issues and she has been weaned off of any medications. As she grows she may require additional tests to monitor her status. A copy of her complete medical report will be available after you submit an adoption application. Star is ready now to scamper and play, and to be your loving companion!
STAR has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and her adoption package includes a free wellness visit with one of our vet partners. To meet STAR in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. Her $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
