Beckett is about 10 months old, sweet, playful, friendly, energetic, and smart; he's also a total couch potato a lot of the time. He has a really soft mouth (seriously--he once brought me a ketchup packet and didn't bite through it) and greets humans politely. He would make a fantastic family dog for the right family, but unfortunately, not ours because we can't get him to stop chasing our cats. We've worked with a trainer, but his desire to chase them seems to be too overwhelming for us. He wants to play with all dogs, but he plays rough and his humans need to feel confident stepping in when another dog finds that annoying--he's not aggressive, just persistent (trainers have said he'll probably grow out of that behavior). I think he might do well with an older, confident dog who will set him straight, but he might do best as an only dog. Wisdom Panel says he's about half boxer, a quarter German shepherd, and a bunch of other things.
