Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here is a sweet little girl, "Brownie". Brownie is 5 years old. We are not sure what breed or mix she is and we do not think she is the breed her owner said she is. Brownie has short legs and a long body.
Brownie, like so many animals that come to us, has her sad story. Brownie's owners are moving and not taking her. They are just abandoning her. Poor Brownie has had 3 homes already, each worse than the other.
Brownie is very nice and, again, she is very sweet. She gets along with other dogs but she does not get along with cats. She likes children. Brownie would make a great family pet. Whatever family or person adopts Brownie will be the luckiest family or person on the earth because they will be getting the best dog on the earth!
We are looking for a home for Brownie that she can finally settle down in and call her own and where she can spend the rest of her life. In Brownie's new home, children must be 6 years old or older.
You must own your own home (preferably with a fenced in yard). No condos. No apartments.
Poor Brownie has never seen a veterinarian. This week she will be going to our veterinarian and she will be spayed, she will get her shots, she will be heartworm tested and she will even get her nails trimmed which hasn't been done in quite some time. Brownie will be getting the works!
To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules.
The adoption fee for Brownie is $350.00. No credit cards.
If you are interested in adopting Brownie, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com.
You can meet Brownie on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!
