Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Raven! She is 3 years of age. She weighs 40 lbs, and is at a healthier weight finally. She Is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning done, and had an overall wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own.
She is house trained , and goes in and out when asked to if she needs to. She is crate trained, and was sleeping in a crate at night but has officially upgraded to a bed alongside ours and she loves it ❤️ She is doing very well on leash, as we had to work with her daily on establishing leash confidence especially outside of being with her sister Olive (who is also posted, and available for adoption so make sure to check her post out too.) Raven has been very dependent on her sister, and we are finally seeing her become more and more comfortable away from her. With that said, we are looking for a very kind, patient, loving, understanding, and confident human to lead her in her next home as she will need that from them to continue becoming the best version of herself 💕
She is VERY sweet, but very shy and reserved when meeting new people. Her prior home didn't treat her (or her sister) very well at all. They were left outside, crated, or kenneled for long periods of time. They were not treated like the amazing, beautiful royal poodles that they were and that is where Ravens co dependency on her sister began.
Time sure does change everything, and I say that whole heartedly because these girls although treated very poorly had so much love in their hearts it was bursting at their seems when they were finally ready to love someone. Their resilience to overcome the bad, and embrace the good is what gives us hope is all we do here.
She is phenomenal with all dogs, and was raised around cats as well.
She is an incredible companion, even if she doesn't quite know it yet 💗
She is quiet, calm, serene tempered, doesn't bark to just bark ever, and has been amazing through every step of training we have personally done with her.
Her adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org.
