My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In a season full of love and goodwill, it breaks our hearts to hear of stories like Traci's. When someone called in about two dogs seemingly abandoned at a local nature preserve, staff jumped to action. For weeks, they searched high and low for her family. Surely someone was missing this sweet, gentle and loving pup?! With no one stepping forward to claim her, Traci must walk the long road to adoption.

What makes Traci truly special is her resilience. This gorgeous smiling pup, despite her disability—a missing leg—faces life with unparalleled strength. Abandoned in the cold wilderness, Traci never let it dim her spirit. She continues to love and connect with people, showcasing a positive attitude that reflects in the biggest smile you'll ever see.

As we approach a season of warmth and connection, consider sharing that warmth with forgotten pups like Traci. Our animal control is stretched to its limit, and we don't want any of these overlooked companions spending the holidays cold and alone. Traci, with her enduring spirit, deserves a family to love.

To ensure Traci's continued well-being, her new family will play a crucial role in providing essentials like microchipping and keeping her vaccinations up-to-date. Fortunately, Traci is already spayed. These extra measures are not included in the adoption fee and must be covered by the adopters upon pickup.

Traci's compatibility extends beyond her canine companions; she's great with dogs, cats, and people alike. If you're ready to open your home and heart to a resilient and loving spirit, Traci is waiting for a family to share her triumphs with.

If you're touched by Traci's tale and ready to embrace her indomitable spirit, contact us today. Let Traci be the source of inspiration and joy in your home during the holidays and beyond.
