My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET DIEGO!

This BIG, personable fellow was left behind, along with over a dozen other cats, when his family was evicted. Fortunately, a neighbor stepped up to catch them all and brought them to us. A happy home of his very own would be his dream come true!
We're not sure how old Diego is, but he's an experienced kitty, maybe 6-7 years old. He's been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and is a good boy with his litter box. Unfortunately, his left ear was tipped because when he and his pals were first trapped it was hard to be sure who was tame and who was wild. It doesn't mar his debonaire good looks though, just gives him even more personality, in our opinion He gets along well with other cats and we think he'll do fine with cat friendly canines too, once he gets to know them. He can be just a tad shy with new people because of his ordeal after being abandoned. Give him the time he needs to settle in and you'll be rewarded many times over! Once he knows he can trust you he's the sweetest boy ever and comes running to meet us for as much snuggle time as he can get. Because of his difficult days after being abandoned, he is a bit of a chow hound, and could use some potion control in his new home. A little less food and a lot more lovin will make Diego the happiest boy in the whole wide world! To meet this charming fellow, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.wixsite.com/posna/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. You'll be very glad you did!

A PLEA FOR BLACK CATS!
Did you know that black cats are the hardest to find good homes for? Though silly superstitions still persist, there's no good reason for that. Black cats just tend to get overlooked when there are more colorful cats around. We think they're the cat's meow, sleek, suave and sophisticated! Not to mention having the best personalities. Please consider giving a wonderful black kitty like Diego the happy home he deserves!
