The name Sterling suggests brilliance, shine, and radiance”. This suits Sterling well. He sits up proud waiting for your attention. You can’t help but smile at him when you see him longing for your love. He cannot receive enough pets. Seriously, don’t stop petting him, pets are his favorite. He will demand you not stop with his declawed front paws and with the gentlest love bite.
Sterling is not a shy boy when it comes to humans of all ages. He will ask for pets from anyone! He’s good with other cats pending proper introductions. He loves his cat “brother” Arlo and tolerates his cat foster siblings. Dogs are scary and he tells them so. He would probably be okay with calm, cat friendly dogs who allow him space.
Sterling does have diabetes. This doesn’t slow him down one bit when it comes to getting love. He gets a shot of insulin twice a day and has prescription food to ensure his glucose stays within a good range. The shelter or his foster mom can show you how to give insulin. It’s easy and Sterling doesn’t even flinch when giving his insulin. He’s too focused on yummy food. Don’t let this treatable disease prevent you from adopting this sweet boy!
Sterling is a radiant boy with lots of love left to give. Please give him the opportunity to show you his brilliance.
