Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here’s Hank (or as we lovingly call him, Hanky Panky), and he’s ready for his forever home. We fully believe he would love the ranch life, with room to roam or a large backyard with lots of adventure.
Hank and his foster buddy Loki have formed an inseparable duo, setting off on their daily patrol of the sprawling backyard. Together they stand guard, barking at invisible intruders or the visible squirrels and lizards.
His affection for the outdoors is matched only by his love for people. He’s met kids aged five and up, making him a perfect fit for a family looking for a zesty companion. He knows basic commands and is housetrained. He stays in his kennel when his foster family is away and views it as his cozy haven to await their return.
Hank gets along splendidly with dogs sized medium to large, but he can’t say the same for cats. His favorite pastime is playtime and will share all of his toys except his cherished Kong. It’s best to give Hank some time to settle into a new space before giving him time with toys and treats.
Hank can be a nervous passenger in the car, but he’s gradually warming up to it. He’s enjoying walks in his neighborhood, and his new family will want to commit to continuing to work on his leash skills with him.
Hank still loves sitting on chairs–not obsessively, but they held a peculiar fascination for him. And when it comes to going places, be it for walks, car rides, or even "borrowing" a neighbor's yard, Hank is always up for an escapade making his humans laugh.
When you look into Hank's eyes, you see the reflection of a happy, freckled soul. His gaze holds the promise of endless sunny days and adventure. To Hank, life is an open field, waiting for a forever family to share it with. So, if you're seeking a sunshine-speckled companion, Hank is ready to fill your days with endless joy & laughs. Adopt Hank, and let the sunshine in!
