My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mason is a 2 year old Lab mix who was found abandoned in western Illinois. He ended up in a county pound and was rescued before he would have been euthanized. He is a really nice dog! Sits when you tell him to. Good with other dogs and people. Not cat tested yet. Quiet in his crate. A bit too thin right now, needs a family to fatten him up! Would make a good family pet!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee for each of the dogs is $200.00. That is to cover the cost of getting the animal spayed/neutered, HW tested and completely UTD on vaccinations. An adoption application can be obtained by contacting us by email at melia88@comcast.net. Once the application has been received and reviewed, a meet and greet will be arranged with your family and the dog you are interested in. A home visit will also be done prior to any adoption being completed.

All of these dogs are currently located in foster homes or paid boarding either in Chicago, IL or surrounding areas. An appointment can be made to view any of the animals at the convenience of the potential adopter and the foster.

More about this rescue

We are a very small group of independent dog rescuers. All of the dogs that are available for adoption were saved from needlessly being euthanized in high kill shelters. Once a dog is brought into our care, it receives all of the vetting that is necessary including a spay/neuter surgery, HW test, and vaccinations. A foster home is then provided for the dog until a forever adoptive home can be found. When a foster home is not available, the dogs will be placed in paid boarding until they are adopted.
