At approximately 1 year old, Skippy has already mastered the art of stealing hearts. From the moment he meets someone, his tail wags like a propeller, and his eyes sparkle with pure joy. Skippy is on a quest to find a forever home where he can share his overflowing love and soak up the warmth of a loving family. People of all ages, other dogs, and yes, even cats, fall under the spell of Skippy's charm. His bond with his host mom's young feline is nothing short of magical. He thrives on a good power walk and revels in the great outdoors. Yet, when the sun sets, he transforms into a cuddle enthusiast, nestling close while you unwind in front of the TV. He observes his human companions, eager to understand the dynamics of family life and yearning for the simple pleasure of being loved. While Skippy is housebroken and possesses an innate ability to signal when nature calls, he's still a young lad in need of some basic obedience training. But don't let that deter you. He’s a fast learner. Skippy isn't just a rescue dog looking for adoption; he's a testament to the transformative power of love and care. You better be able to throw a ball or a toy, play tug of war, run around the yard with him, and keep him busy. He is not a couch potato. Except at night!! Then he is ready to snuggle.
