Additional adoption info

We have a short application process and a $150.00 fee for adoption. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered. We show our animals by appointment and offer a money back guarantee. Everyone needs to be happy in the adoption process!

More about this rescue

"Where your best friend is waiting"

Many of our volunteers also foster dogs and our local veterinarians provide all vaccinations and microchipping on our dogs. All dogs are altered at the time of adoption.

We are always in need of donations, and not just monetary! Our dogs love blankets to sleep on, toys to play with, chewies and treats. We are in need of large dog collars and leashes for their daily walks!

From the staff of Kellogg Animal Hospital:
Shoshone Pet Rescue is a volunteer group that we have worked with for many years. This group has made a huge impact on our small community. They have successfully rescued abandoned, neglected, homeless, and at times abused animals. The main focus this group now targets is our local dog pounds. Which a few years ago had almost a 100% kill ratio. Through their efforts that percentage has almost dropped to zero! Now, only aggressive, unsociable, or unadoptable animals are having to be euthanized. These volunteers have made it a priority to spay or neuter all animals that are adopted. Shoshone Pet Rescue has been able to provide this service using only donations and personal funds. We highly recommend Shoshone Pet Rescue.
Sincerely, The Staff of Kellogg Animal Hospital
