Meet Angel & Elsa: The Sweetest Bonded Pair

Breed: German Shepherds
Age: 3 years old
Adoption History: Adopted November 2023, then returned due to their new owner's passing
Temperament: Gentle, sweet, calm

About Angel & Elsa:
Angel and Elsa are two beautiful, bonded German Shepherds who share not only an incredible connection with each other but also a quiet, loving nature that makes them a joy to be around. Despite facing significant loss in their young lives-losing their original owner and, most recently, their new adoptive owner-they remain calm, gentle, and resilient.

At just three years old, these girls are surprisingly relaxed for their age. They have a deep, calming presence that makes them perfect companions for a home that values tranquility and love. Whether you're sitting together on the couch or taking a leisurely stroll, Angel and Elsa will be by your side, offering quiet comfort and affection.

What Makes Them Special:
- Bonded Pair: Angel and Elsa are inseparable. They've grown up together and find comfort and safety in each other. Their bond is a beautiful thing to witness, and they would thrive best when adopted together.
- Calm & Gentle: Despite their age, they are remarkably calm for a breed known for their energy. Their easygoing temperament makes them well-suited for families looking for a more relaxed dog.
- Sweet & Affectionate: Both girls are affectionate and loving, always ready for a cuddle or a gentle pet. They're incredibly loyal and will form a strong bond with their new family.
- Ideal Companions: They are well-behaved, great with other dogs, and would be wonderful in a variety of living situations, from a peaceful home to an active household that appreciates their calm demeanor.

Angel and Elsa's resilience, sweetness, and strong bond make them a truly special pair. They're ready to find their forever home with a family that will provide them with love, stability, and plenty of gentle care. If you're looking for two loving dogs to bring warmth and tranquility into your life, look no further-Angel and Elsa are waiting for you!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We hope you meet your four-legged love at SPCA Florida! Our goal is to help you find a companion that best suits your household. We have wonderful animals available and a great deal of information to share with you.

Adoption Process
When you arrive at the Adoption Center we invite you to take a look around and meet the animals. We encourage you and your family to spend time with each pet you are interested in to see which is the best fit. Our trained staff and volunteers are happy to answer questions about the animals and provide you with whatever background information we have regarding that pet. Please keep in mind we do not always know all of the adoptable animals’ history or background depending on how they arrived at SPCA Florida.

If you currently have a dog at home we recommend you bring him or her in to interact with your potential new dog.

When you find a pet you would like to adopt the next step is to fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed with you by one of our trained counselors. The counselors will answer any questions you may have. If the pet is already sterilized he or she can go home the same day, otherwise the surgery is normally scheduled the next day and the pet can go home the day of surgery.

Adoption Fees
Adoption fees vary depending on species, breed and age. The fee includes:

•Spay/Neuter surgery for unsterilized pets
•Dogs are dewormed, tested for heartworms (if negative they receive a 30-day heartworm preventative; if positive a certificate for treatment paid for by the Guardian Angel Fund) and receive vaccinations for canine distemper, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, parvovirus and Rabies
•Cats are dewormed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids and receive vaccinations for feline distemper, rhinotracheitis, calici virus and Rabies
•microchip
•SPCA ID tag
•Dog leash or cat carrier
•Educational material

Other supplies are available for purchase in our adoption center lobby.
