Hi, my name is Trace! I have been told I am a sweet little lady who has stolen many hearts. I am named after the artful technique of tracing, and I bring a unique story waiting to unfold – a story of love, companionship, and the beauty of creating lasting connections. The beginning of my story is not what my friends would have wanted for me. But, the best of my story is yet to come!
I came to Warrior Dog in August as an expectant momma. My 10 puppies were born via emergency c-section in mid-September. I have spent 8 weeks caring for and teaching my babies in the art of being good dogs. I keep hearing that I am an excellent teacher!
Some things to know about me: - I am a gentle and affectionate soul - I love my people. With my history, I like to take some time to truly trust new humans. But, once I do, I will wiggle my way right into your heart. - I am told that I am a very smart girl who will definitely be a motivated learner. - I walk well on a leash - I learned to approach humans for affection.
Before coming to MN, I never lived inside a home so I never had to share my space like that before. So it would be best if I was the only dog to get your love and attention. My humans can say for sure that I am house trained and kennel trained!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
