Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐶 🐕 WILEY Male Border collie mix approximately 2 years, 50 pounds & AVAILABLE –check out more photos and see the rest of our dogs on our website -- https://norcalbcrescue.org/available-dogs/our-dogs/ 🐕 🐶
Say hello to WILEY, the nicest dog you will ever meet. He is a 2 year old, 50 pound BC with smooth coat and eyes that say, love me! WILEY'S favorite things are to be with his person, go for walks and go for car rides. He loves going for car rides and will happily load up. He rides quietly, and is very well behaved.
WILEY gets along well with all dogs and is a little cat curious, but does not chase the cats in his foster home. WILEY is a medium energy boy who needs daily walks, but is happy to chill on the couch with you. He also loves to hang out in the yard and soak up the sun. He has shown a little bit of interest in toys, and loves to chew on his favorite chew toy or bone.
WILEY is fully potty trained and has free roam of the house when his foster mom is home. He uses the dog door to go outside when needed. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and will also nap in his crate at times. He is fine being crated for a couple hours when his foster mom is running errands. He came into rescue on the thin side and has put on a few pounds, but could stand to put on a few more.
WILEY is learning how to walk on a leash and is making great progress. He is also learning what it means to be part of the family. He may be a little bit shy in new situations, but will warm up quickly. He would do best in a home where he will get a lot of attention. He needs a soft touch and a little extra patience. He really is the nicest, sweetest boy who is so full of love. He deserves to have the best forever family who will appreciate his sweet, gentle nature.
WILEY is micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (https://norcalbcrescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/) and wish to inquire about WILEY, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.
WILEY is fostering in Folsom in Sacramento County, CA.
