My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Just look at this sweet little gal.  We call her Grannie and she was trapped during a TNR effort.  She was already up there in years and the vets that did her spay surgery thought she was sweet.  They asked if she could possibly get a spot in rescue to be inside and no longer live her life on the streets.  We were happy to make her a spot and fulfill their request.  No more kittens for sweet Grannie and lots of cat cuddle buddies to keep her company.  You can usually find her on the window shelf in the orange room in the middle of a kitty cuddle puddle just snoozin her day away.  If you think you might have a spot to elevate her lifestyle even more we are sure she would love a life in a home even more than a life in rescue.  She is spayed, vaccinated, FeLV/Fiv negative and microchipped.  As always our adoption fee is free will for cats/kittens to approved applicants.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
