Meet Samwise! He is about 4-5 years old and 37 lbs. He is some sort of “doodle” and he is ready to find a family! So far we know he has lived with other dogs, did well on has cat test, and would do well with kids over 5! Samwise has been very sweet and gentle with the kids in his foster home, he just needs slow introductions because the world is a little scary to him. Samwise is dog friendly & cat friendly and an all around very good boy! He is a laidback boy that goes with the flow. Samwise enjoys a good Nylabone or Kong to chew on!

Samwise is crate trained, and has made good progress on potty training with his foster family. He will happily sleep in his crate or on a dog bed. Samwise is very sweet, and has great leash manners. He really enjoys people and would love to find a family! His dream home would have people who are home quite a bit and a confident dog that will help him continue for feel more confidence. Samwise is fostered in Portland, Oregon. Please apply today! His adoption fee is $350.
